We send your
consumption data to
ENERGY STAR®
Portfolio Manager®.

The EDS GatewayTM helps building managers sync their energy data from their utility providers to ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®.

Manually importing energy data is
laborious and can lead to errors.

Create an automated link to have up-to-date, consistent and reliable consumption data in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®.
Perform better benchmarking and energy efficiency analyses with reliable data.
Enjoy increased control over settings and gain insight into sync events.
How does it work?
1-
Add a meter
Log in to EDS Gateway and add a meter. After selecting your utility provider, you will be redirected to their web portal where you can log in and authorize the data transfer.
2-
Get your unique identifiers
Back at EDS Gateway, you will see the available meters. Choose the ones you want to synchronize and pay the fee, you will then have access to their unique identifier. Keep these handy, you will need them in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®.
3-
Configure ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®
In ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®, create a connection with the EDS Gateway contact. Then share your meters by providing the credentials obtained previously and giving us full access to the meters. The link will then be automatically activated and the data transfer will begin.

The service fee will be charged at the beginning of each year. You can add meters later, which will be billed for the first time based on the remaining days in your billing year. If necessary, meters can be disconnected at any time, from the EDS Gateway dashboard, ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® or your utility portal.
The license is an annual commitment paid in advance and includes the initial transfer of historical data, up to 24 months of history. The data transferred during the year is dependent on the billing cycle defined by each utility provider.
