How does it work?
1-
Select your utility
Log in to EDS Gateway and add a utility provider.
2-
Allow access to data
Your utility provider’s web portal will ask you to authorize the data transfer. Please note that this data will be encrypted during transfer and once stored. We follow a strict security policy to ensure the safety of your data.
3-
Get your unique identifiers
Back in EDS Gateway, you will see your available counters, with unique identifiers. Keep these handy, you will need them in ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®.
4-
Configure ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®
In ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager®, create a connection with the EDS Gateway contact. Then share your meters by providing the credentials obtained previously and giving us full access to the meters. The link will then be automatically activated and the data transfer will begin.
How much is it?
US$48
/ meter / year
The US$48 service fee per meter will be charged at the beginning of each year. You can add meters later, which will be billed for the first time based on the remaining days in your billing year. If necessary, meters can be disconnected at any time, from the EDS Gateway dashboard, ENERGY STAR® Portfolio Manager® or your utility portal.
The license is an annual commitment paid in advance and includes the initial transfer of historical data, up to 24 months of history. The data transferred during the year is dependent on the billing cycle defined by each utility provider.
